Bury St Edmunds

December 2016

QTS have recently completed a multi-disciplined study within an area surrounding Bury St Edmunds that consisted of 18 MCC studies all with Queue length studies and supported by a number of ATC installations. ALL MCC's and Queue Lengths were recorded using our camera systems where the footage was supplied to our our client for future observation. It was necessary to record part of the study using ANPR cameras in order to obtain a comprehensive view of all vehicle movements within a particular zone. Here we supplied journey times, vehicle classification and O&D matrices, as well as Queue length data.

New Years Day Traffic Survey

January 2016

QTS carried out a small survey on New Years Day in the countryside of England conducting access counts for one of our major clients. The counts in the countryside showed a large number of people conducting group walks on New Years Day in lovely sunshine. The staff conducted a draw for whom had to work this day with Robert Ford being the 'winner'. Although the bonus pay and additional days leave probably helped cushion the blow of an early night on New Years Eve.
